Senior MES Engineer

Position Summary

The Senior MES Engineer  is responsible for development and maintenance of manufacturing execution system (MES).

Candidates with work experience in a manufacturing computer team or MES developer experience are encouraged to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Development, operation, and maintenance of MES system including Equipment Data Collection, Barcode Label, Schedule system and QA system / SPC.
• Identify failures, root cause analysis, and recommend solution for technical issues.
• Interfacing and communications between MES and ERP.
• Collaborate with Operations and building stakeholders throughout the software or system development lifecycle: gather system/end user requirements; complete design, implementation, and testing/validation of changes; document changes; maintain and monitor the system; ensure end user readiness.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or similar discipline.
• More than 3 years of MES design, implementation, maintenance including 2 years of development experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to communicate with other department team members.
• Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Programming languages (C#, .Net, etc.) and DBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.).
• Experience in Manufacturing process knowledge (Assembly, Testing, Shipping, Etc.) and Smart factory/MES implementation .

Preferred Qualifications

• Global MES package implementation and operation.
• Production and quality control process improvement consulting.
• Building solution-based production/quality management system .
• Working knowledge of SAP.
