Senior Electrical Simulation Engineer

Position Summary

Electrical Simulation Engineer / Senior Engineer is responsible for product package electrical simulation.

Candidates with semiconductor packaging experience are encouraged to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the internal & external customer to:

1. Conduct power integrity, signal integrity, EMC, EMI, EDS simulation for electrical analysis in component level as well as system level.
2. Provide comment and recommendation to product design and process optimization.
3. Provide consultancy to technical discussion and enquiry. 
4. Provide electrical input to mechanical simulation for thermal and stress analysis.

• Generate IPs for the company.
• Prepare the simulation reports with data analysis and recommendation.
• Support audits if any.
• Other ad-hoc activities assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirement

• MS degree in electrical +5 years’ experience OR PhD in Mechanical Engineering +3 years’ experience
• Good understanding of JEDEC thermal and reliability spec.
• Familiar with material properties which are critical to simulation.
• Knowledge of Cadence, general electrical design.
• Solid fundamentals and expertise in electrical analysis.
• Hands-on skills on simulation tools such as: Cadence, ANSYS RedHAWK, ANSYS PowerArtlist, or other equivalent.
