Michael (Mike) Han

Head of Business

Mike Han is the Head of Business @ Silicon Box. He has 15 years of experience in finance, business operations, sales, and partnerships which he brings to business development at Silicon Box.


After stints at CSFB, AOL, and Merrill Lynch, Mike joined a 6-person founding team, that launched one of the world’s first mobile ad servers (MoVoxx*). He led network development and ad ops teams through two multi-million dollar acquisitions. As the first platform logistics consultant at Omnicom Group, he advised clients including Google and Starbucks. Platform Logistics is now Accuen, Omnicom’s trading desk.


In 2012, Mike joined Shazam as an early employee in the US, managing ad ops and platform BD. At Shazam, his native ad initiatives with rdio, Apple Music and Spotify eventually generated a majority of Shazam’s revenue by 2016 and was instrumental in Shazam’s acquisition by Apple in 2017.


From 2016, Mike continued to hold enterprise partnership positions at TikTok and Meta Platforms, while heading his own investment fund. The fund manages over 250,000 sq. ft. of residential real estate across the United States, and actively invests, internationally, from early-stage venture capital through private equity.


Mike received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California in 2008, majoring in Business Administration (Finance) and Cinema-Television. He completed the Masters of Marketing program at Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson College of Business.
